2:6. সদোম ও ঘমোরা নগরকে ঈশ্বর দণ্ডিত করেছিলেন৷ ঈশ্বর সেই দুটি নগরকে ধ্বংস করে যাঁরা তাঁর বিরোধিতা করে তাদের জন্য শেষ ফলের এক উদাহরণ হিসেবে তা স্থাপন করেছিলেন৷
